Erection All Risks insurance protects against damages and losses to the plants, machinery, materials, equipment, building structures in the course of erection and installation of electrical or mechanical plant and machinery and liabilities arising out of the performance of the contract. The machinery and equipment are covered from the commencement of the loading for dispatch which includes the transit and any incidental storage. It is more suitable for engineering facilities and other construction projects involving erections and installations.
